My whole life I’ve been going to the doctor periodically to do a check-up. Hopefully nothing shows up on the results, right?
After doing the re-branding of the client I’m about to share, I thought that the way doctor visits were supposed to go is that you call to make an appointment (if they pick up), schedule your check-up (a month later because the doc is slammed), do your check-up and cross your fingers that you never get a call to come back – after all, no news is good news, right?
But now I’ve seen the FUTURE of medicine for my own eyes….and it is GOOD!
Imagine a world where instead of diagnosing a patient’s problem, we’re preventing the problem before it happens.
Imagine going to the doctor because you’re going to identify things like
- What you should and shouldn’t eat, based on your DNA
- What medicines will work and not work, based on a test
- What level of exercise, and precisely what routine, would be best for me, based on my blood
Sounds like stuff that a nutritionist or some holistic healer should tell me, right?
Medicine is heading towards a PREVENTIVE model of treatment. In other words, you don’t go to the doctor to diagnose something or check for problems, you go to get to know yourself and your body better, and have your doctor guide you to staying on the path of perfect health, based on my own unique composition.
That’s the mission my client, Preventive Health Partners is on.
They partner with healthcare industry professionals that believe that preventive health is the present and future of healthcare in the world.
They are literally leading a revolution of healthcare entrepreneurs (a lot of doctors are entrepreneurs).
You can understand why I was so excited to work with my friend Enrique on re-branding and re-positioning his existing brand so that he can attack this rapidly growing philosophy that’s sweeping the nation as doctors become more INCENTIVIZED…like the free market should operate.
Him and his team consult doctors to move in this direction because doctors can now make more money by making sure you DON’T show up with any problems through various ancillary preventive services that the doctor can now provide.
When Enrique came in, he had what I like to call the “do it yourself” branding. Yup, you know what I’m talking about. You get an idea, you go to a free website builder and crank out a website almost overnight. You call up a buddy to whip up a logo, and voila…you’re up and running.
And I’m all good with that for start-ups. In fact, that’s what I always recommend.
But after you start making money and prove the model works, it’s time to re-brand.
We worked with Enrique with:
- Logo: Clean up the logo
- Story: Consolidate two different target markets into one bigger story
- Website: Create one main website with two sub websites
- Cards: Redesign their business cards
- Photography: Take headshots of the partners
In a little over 2 days (yes, it took me longer than 2 days…i’m sorry Enrique), we were totally rebranded and ready to attack the healthcare market.
